Shipping
At a glance
Every piece is hand-packed in our Jingdezhen studio using foam-lined double-wall cartons designed for fragile porcelain. Your parcel ships via DHL Express with full insurance and signature on delivery.
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the studio. Transit typically takes 7–14 business days to most destinations worldwide. Delays due to customs inspection are outside our control but rare.

Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are assessed by your country's customs authority. We recommend checking your local import regulations before ordering.

Food Safety & Materials
Food-safe glazes
All teaware and tableware sold by LLC craft is finished with glazes formulated for direct food contact. The glazes are lead and cadmium free and are intended to meet the United States FDA food-contact standards (21 CFR 163.4 & CPG 7117) and California Prop 65 discharge limits.
What this means
- Every gaiwan, teacup, pitcher, and bowl sold for beverage or food use is fired to vitrification at 1280–1330 °C, producing a non-porous surface that does not retain flavours or bacteria.
- The decorative overglaze enamel pieces in the Enamel collection are ornamental by default. Any enamel piece listed in the teaware category is clearly marked as food-safe on its product page; unmarked enamel pieces are intended for display only.
- We retain third-party lab reports for each glaze batch. A copy is available on request at hello@llccraft.com.
Use & care
- Hand-wash recommended. Dishwasher use on a gentle, low-temperature cycle is acceptable but will shorten the life of any gold or enamel detail.
- Avoid sudden thermal shock (e.g. pouring boiling water into a cold cup that has sat in a freezer); porcelain is strong but not indestructible.
- Not intended for stovetop, open flame, oven, or microwave use.
California Prop 65 notice
Because our food-contact pieces are formulated and tested to be lead and cadmium free, no Prop 65 warning is required under current California regulation for the SKUs we sell for tea and table use. Ornamental and collectible pieces that are not designed for food contact are marked as such on their product pages and carry their own care guidance.
